Visit to the Woods...and Mars!

 The sun is out and I’m a happy boy. This morning we went down the beach to the old fort. Nix says the beach looks like Mars...did you know Nix and I had been there. 






I am eating much better since I stopped my antibiotics so I had the big breakfast when I got home.  I then had the big lunch before we went out again. 





We’ve been to the woods this afternoon. Nix likes to tell everyone that I go missing but actually she really should just try and keep up. There were no incidents as far as I’m concerned but Nix says there would have been one if she hadn’t grabbed my tail when the Husky suddenly came round the corner. Yes I know he only wanted to play but Nix said she knew I was planning a mounting mission and he didn’t look like he’d appreciate that. She said she’d saved me from a fight but really... my tail...the indignity of it.








The small child rolling down the hill was an accident. He was already rolling, I just gave him a bit of a shove so he could go faster. I think he loved it, he was screaming with laughter...I think 🤔

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
