They’ve Buried my Breakfast!

 So I’d like to say it’s been quite a day but to be honest it’s been rather boring. Nix doesn’t agree as she said peeing up the only car in the car park that had a driver sitting in it was not boring it was embarrassing. She also said that picking up another dog’s cold poo by mistake was not boring, it was disgusting.  Well I was bored though there was one bit of entertainment. Nix went to flash her headlights at a fellow driver to say thanks for letting us through and she turned the windscreen washers on by mistake. I thought that was hilarious, she said it was embarrassing because the bloke in the other car was laughing. 

We did go to the beach this morning and the big trucks have made a mess. I know it’s going to help our neighbours who might get flooded but they’ve buried all the dead fish.




We’ve been to the hill this afternoon and I managed to squeeze in between two sheds and into that cat’s garden. It wasn’t there so I had to come out again which is always harder when ‘someone’ is glaring at you. 






When we got home I had my photo taken and Nix saved me some scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Then I took my dirty feet and my dirty face and cleaned them on the duvet cover.

    Dear Fripp, I'm so sorry for your breakfast at the beach, but honestly scrambled eggs and smoked salmon sound much more appetizing! You're spoiled and very well taken care of by your wonderful mom.Though I think you can not complain....

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
