Tea at the Bluebird Café

 Major dramas here... the iPhone broke 😱😱😱

We had just got back from our walk and Nix was deciding which photos to put on the blog when it just went dead. I knew better than to be annoying as usual when we first get back so played quietly with my ball and then when things got hairy went for a kip in the bedroom.  




The Apple store is closed because of the virus thingy so there followed a very long telephone conversation with an Apple assistant. That didn’t go well as Nix was panicking and couldn’t really understand what the girl was telling her to do. The girl kept going off to ask someone else as she didn’t seem to know what she was doing either...it was a disaster darling. At least we’d had a decent walk first because this was going to take a long time. 





I’m sure you all remember the iPad fiasco where Nix had to send it back to Apple to get it fixed. Took her ages to work out which labels went where but she did do it in the end. Now we have to go through it all again with the phone 🙄 


Best bit was Nix trying to get the SIM card out with a needle. Never going to happen, even I know you need a paper clip. In the end the Apple lady suggested a pierced earring which was a great idea except Nix only has one pair and was wearing them. Got to hand it to her, she took the earring out and she did it whilst carrying on the phone conversation with Apple. She also remembered afterwards she had an old phone so she’s put the sim card in that. Let’s not mention the fact that she had to go on YouTube to work out which way round it went 🤣 I was getting a bit worried because she won’t drive anywhere without a phone so my walks would have been curtailed. 


Anyway she says she’s too exhausted to type any more so until tomorrow my friends xxx

Too Much Noisy Rain

 Last night it started to rain, a lot, and as you know I do not like it when it rains, it scares me. I don’t mind it when I’m out on my walk as you can see from my photos but I don’t like it when I’m inside. I just couldn’t help myself, I had to get off the bed and start digging. Nix was very understanding for once but she does try to get me back on the bed. In the end I gave up and got on the bed and was just drifting off when there was this really loud scary noise. Nix said it sounded like a very loud demented dalek whatever that is...it was very scary and made me and Nix really jump. Turned out to be something to do with her phone and the battery going...is it too much to ask that she keep a check on these things, nearly gave me a heart attack.  It hasn’t stopped raining all day so there are only photos of me wet. I didn’t stay wet for long, I blotted myself off on the sofa first and then Nix’s bed. She thought there were towels on it but I’d dug them all up. The best news today is

Big Boats and Little Dogs

 There was a very big boat making a lot of noise when we got to the beach this morning. Nix thought that it was very interesting, me not so much. I suppose it shows just how boring Nix’s life really is.  We went down the river this afternoon. You know how Nix has always been scared of going over the bridge over the busy road. Well now she’s decided she doesn’t like going under the busy road either. I think the lockdown thingy has finally done it’s worst. She says it’s worse coming back because she can see it in the distance and knows she’s got to go under it eventually. I like it under there, it’s really noisy and you can hear the lorries above you racing along.  I like to think I took her mind off going under the bridge by perfecting another one of my annoying habits. I like to walk right behind her and when she looks over her right shoulder to make sure I’m still there I overtake her on the left.
